Most that know me would call me complex; my mood can change like the time. My characters are based off my many personalities. I'm not an emotional writer or an author who writes from past experiences, I create whatever comes to mind. I'm inspired by E. Lynn Harris and Eric Jerome Dickey. My books are are based on the true essence of love and life- the ups and downs of a heart break, knowing when it's time to let go, finding yourself and learning how to love again. I feel content with myself as a mother, lover and friend.

For some people the urban lifestyle is the only way they know how to eat, sleep and breathe. As opposed to the many other genres of living, urban life has a unique culture filled with swag, fashion, conditions and attitude unlike any other.
UrbanL Publishing LLC was cofounded in 2008 by two friends who took their passion for writing to another level by self publishing, promoting and financing their own work. The company is now solely operated by GStarr.
Writings reflect life, lessons, love, laughter, lust, learning- encompassing it all plus more!It is derived from an upbringing that has been surrounded by the urbane feel of growing up in New York City and experiencing the rawness of reality which is undeniably reflected in the work.
